Inside Salesperson

We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with excellent problem-solving skills to join our sales team.

Store Hours Monday through Friday 7:00 until 5:30

Required education and/or experience:

• Post-secondary education and/or Equivalent work experience

Required license or certification:

• Must have a current valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Customer Service
• Continually educate and improve your knowledge of products that Marathon Tool sells
• Clearly discuss technical aspects of products Marathon Tool sells to help customers find solutions to their applications
• Understand the value of the service that Marathon Tool provides and be able to communicate that value to customers
• Assist vendor partners by fairly discussing features and benefits of competing products
• Timely and efficient customer response through all forms of communication
• Timely and accurate processing of orders
• Support all internal departments
• Customer Service

Physical Requirements

• Frequently requires moving/lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment (10-50) pounds
• Regularly requires moving/lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment up to 90+ pounds team lift
• Frequently requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Frequently requires the ability to stop, bend, twist, kneel, push, pull, and crouch
• Occasionally requires sitting
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally exposed to high places,
• Occasionally exposed to fumes and dust
• Warehouse is not air conditioned
• The noise level in the work environment can be loud
• Requires listening for customer calls, personal pages and general information announcements
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision
